Communication in Construction

Description

Why is communication so important in construction?

How much of your work involves interacting with other people? Probably more than you realise. Everything you do that requires some sort of interaction is an example of why good communication is so important. From giving or receiving instructions, to placing orders for materials, and even reading and filling in documents, if your communication skills are lacking, you’re going to struggle to get by.

Brought to you by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), Communicating in Construction will help you improve your communication skills as you work towards your Level 1. With practical construction examples, you'll see how what you learn will help you in your everyday work.

When you finish the course you’ll also receive a Communicating in Construction certificate, to show you've completed the course successfully!

A CITB Apprenticeship account is required to enrol on this course. An English version is available at https://learn.citb.co.uk/courses/course-v1:CIT+CIT002+2018/about
