Social Care Wales has worked with the sector to develop Essential Skills Wales resources to help with teaching and learning for Application of Number and Communication at Level 1 and 2.
The resources have been designed to reflect real life work scenarios that you may come across in social care or early years and childcare and cover different learning outcomes that you need to know to complete your Essential Skills Wales qualifications.
The resources are not mandatory. You can do them all or just pick which ones will help you best.
These resources are intended to support learning and so do not replace teaching or assessment activities. They have been designed to demonstrate where Essential Skills Wales skills are applied in practice settings and may not cover all learning outcomes fully.
