A Welsh adaptation of Pearson BTEC National Business - Student Book 1 for students following the BTEC Business Certificate, Extended Certificate and Foundation Diploma. It provides support through all compulsory units and a range of choice units, e.g. Exploring Business; Developing a Marketing Campaign; Event Organising; and Customer Services Enquiries.
BTEC National in Sport Coursebooks
Welsh adaption of 'BTEC National Sports Student Book 1', 'BTEC National Sports Student Book 2', and 'BTEC National Sports Units 1 and 2 Revision Workbook' for students studying BTEC the Foundation Diploma and the Extended Diploma. Prentis-iaith Confidence Level
These short courses are for apprentices who are keen to develop their confidence to use their Welsh in the workplace. They enable the apprentices to complete a part of their course through the medium of Welsh.
The first five units introduces the importance of the Welsh language as a skill for the workplace while the content of units 6 is tailored to different vocational subjects.
HOW TO USE THE RESOURCES?
Everyone will complete Units 1-5 General and then select the version that suits them for Unit 6. Unit 6 has additional versions that have been tailored to the following five specific vocational subjects:
- Healthcare
- Childcare
- Public Services
- Agriculture
- Construction
If you do not follow one of the above subjects, you can complete Unit 6 General.
WHICH LEVEL SHOULD YOU COMPLETE?
There are four levels of Prentis-iaith:
- Prentis-iaith Awareness Level (for apprentices that have little or no Welsh language skills)
- Prentis-iaith Understanding Level (for apprentices who already have some understanding of Welsh)
- Prentis-iaith Confidence Level (for apprentices who wish to increase their confidence to use their Welsh)
- Prentis-iaith Fluency Level (for apprentices who can speak Welsh fluently)
LEARNING PROVIDERS AND COLLEGES
These courses are also available via the learning portals of the main apprenticeship providers in Wales. Other providers wishing to make the courses available through their LMS should download the units from the zipfile that can be accessed below.
It is possible for learners to print certificates automatically after completeing each unit. Providers can also download versions below to manually fill in and award to students.
