This book is primarily intended to provide an introduction to criminology as an academic degree subject area of study for first year students at Higher Education institutions in Wales. This was the impetus to develop a comprehensive academic textbook in Welsh that would introduce students to critical aspects of pursuing and studying criminology for themselves. As well as offering the resource in the Welsh language, the volume also asks students to relate theories of criminology within the context of crime in contemporary Wales.

SOCIAL INEQUALITY This book aims to discuss social inequalities within contemporary society. DETAILS ABOUT THE PAAC ('Sociology Multimedia Resource Pack') SERIES: A package of multimedia resources to support the teaching of sociology through the medium of Welsh. These materials are aimed at pupils studying Sociology A Level in schools across Wales, and first year students studying the subject at university.  The series contains resources on the following themes: RESEARCH METHODS INTRODUCTION TO SOCIOLOGY THE FAMILY EDUCATION SOCIAL INEQUALITY The e-books were developed by Dr Cynog Prys and Dr Rhian Hodges from Bangor University's School of History, Philosophy and Social Sciences. These resources are only available through the medium of Welsh.
