There are videos explaining what the Porth Adnoddau is and also how to use it. There is also a link to a form for uploading a new resource to the Porth along with guidance on how to complete it.

This is an interactive website which introduces the user to various types of journalism. Aimed at students of journalism, it includes a guide to writing for newspapers, radio, television, online and for social media. The resource also includes an introduction to the rules and regulations that influence editorial decisions. It includes videos, quizes and online exercises.
Mathematics with Bubbles
This website includes an introduction to how bubbles can be used to solve a mathematical problem in optimization, known as the Steiner Problem. The aim in this problem is to find the shortest way of connecting together n points (which could denote towns or cities) positioned on a plane. To solve the problem, we will make connections with another problem in which we find minimal surfaces (e.g using bubbles). The website includes two sets of exercises, the first is aimed at learners in years 10-11 while the second is aimed at learners in years 12-13. The first set of exercises mainly involves geometrical calculations (in particular trigonometric calculations), while the second set also includes exersises in finding limits and differentiation.

Programming Resources
A set of multimedia resources for learning to programme through the medium of Welsh. This resource includes 28 videos on how to download, install and run Python; basic syntax; and algorithmic thinking by solving example problems. There is also a Welsh-medium website which includes resources for developing research software and computer science research methods.

Incorporating study skills into teaching
This workshop will be of interest to staff wishing to explore approaches to study skills, and the possibilities of integrating and introducing elements of study skills into academic programs/modules/courses. Presenter: Dr Leila Griffiths Leila Griffiths is a Study Adviser at the Study Skills Centre at Bangor University, and has worked as part of a team aimed at enabling undergraduate and postgraduate students during the transition to University and progression through it. The Centre works closely with academic departments to support and complement subject specific provision within the disciplines, and to disseminate best practice. Leila has experience of working closely with staff in a number of different academic departments in the area of learning development. Workshop aims Develop an awareness of approaches to study skills at subject level; Sharing best practice in relation to academic schools in the field of study skills; Explore the possibilities of presenting study skills as an integrated element of an academic module or course. Learning Outcomes Introduce aspects of study skills at a subject level to students (ensuring that the study skills provision offered by the school is relevant to their students' subject-specific studies); Identify study skills best practice when designing modules/courses; Being aware of models and methods of presenting study skills within modules/courses.

This is an interactive website, aimed at students of journalism which provides useful information on reporting Covid-19. It includes a guide on how the news is created during the pandemic and information on the demand for dependable news. It also sets out the responsibilities of the devolved Governments during the crisis. The resource also includes videos and a quiz.
Myfyriwr Amaeth ('Agricultural Student')
24 video clips produced by Telesgop. They are 5 to 8 minutes long, and include vets, lecturers and experts discussing a particular principle or demonstrating a skill. They are ideal for some of the units taught as part of the Level 3 (BTEC and City & Builds) course , namely: • Sheep production • Beef production • Dairy production • Grassland Management • Agricultural engineering • Estate maintenance skills • Management of pigs and chickens • Health of farm animals The clips can be used to demonstrate a particular skill, leading to discussions in the classroom before completing a worksheet. Many of the clips give students a good grounding before they go out to practice the skill.
