These resources have been designed to support tutors to develop their bilingual teaching skills and increase their awareness of the Lifelong Learning Welsh Record (LLWR) and the LA26 data set. The data set is used to record Welsh and bilingual provision in the post-16 education sector in Wales. The aim of the resources is to give tutors confidence in the way activity completed in Welsh or bilingually is recorded on the LLWR, and to help tutors establish where their provision currently sits. They are also designed to give tutors practical advice on how to move their teaching up the bilingualism continuum. This tutor support pack includes: Handbook - a working document that can be used for reference, as well as to establish specific personal targets for increasing the Welsh/bilingual provision. Online e-learning course - Understanding the Welsh Lifelong Learning Record (LLWR). This interactive online learning module provides an overview of the Welsh Lifelong Learning Record (LLWR) and how it is used by the Welsh Government to record Welsh and bilingual provision in the post-16 education sector in Wales. What’s the meaning of life? ... and other big questions
This is a podcast in Welsh that is a little different from the usual, and which – as the title suggests – tackles some of life's big questions. The podcast is funded by the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol, and the series is presented by Dr Huw Williams, a reader in Philosophy at Cardiff University, who holds lively and witty conversations with various friends, including experts and some leading Welsh academics. The premise of the series is that we all reflect on profound issues that are part of everyday life, and discussing and reflecting on these themes is a healthy and important thing. The talks present the discussions through the medium of everyday language in an accessible way; It should appeal to 6th form learners, university students, and other adults who have no prior knowledge of the subjects in question. So join us (and also get ready for a little trip to Roswell...)! The series, with original music, is produced by Osian Gwynedd.

Sharing Good Practice Videos – PGCE PcET Mentoring Scheme
Are you leading or lecturing on the PGCE PcET (Post Graduate Certificate in Education, Post-compulsory Education and Training) course? Do you have students who speak Welsh and are keen to use the Welsh language in their future careers? If so, this resource is designed to support you. The series includes six videos featuring staff who teach bilingually in the further education and apprenticeships sector and who have recently completed the PGCE PcET course. These videos provide valuable insights into their experiences, along with practical tips and examples of good practice that can be shared with your students as they prepare to enter the sector. There is also a Sharing Good Practice Pack, which offers good and innovative practice for you to encourage and support PGCE students to use their Welsh language skills.
