The conference aims to showcase leading scientific research by Welsh language scientists and to nurture a Welsh language scientific community. The conference provides a platform to present and discuss various topics within the sciences. The Conference will be conducted in Welsh, and anyone with an interest in science is welcome to register, be they students, academics, members of the public or learners in schools and further education colleges.
Gŵyl MAP a'r Gynhadledd Theatr (21/4/2021)
This year 'Gŵyl MAP a'r Gynhadledd Theatr' was held ON-LINE! It was an exiting opportunity to perform and discuss work amongst fellow theatre and performance students. Participants were able to listen to actors, playwrights and theatre directors discuss the past year, and to take a look at the future of theatre. Online Psychology Conference
A conference held on 28 April 2021 for undergraduate and postgraduate Psychology students and those studying related subjects such as health and education. 17-18 year old learners were invited to join. The morning presentations followed the themes of: Health & Wellbeing Language, Development and Education. A Careers Panel was held in the afternoon with people representing the following careers: Educational Psychologist Clinical Psychologist Applied Behaviour Analysis Psychologist Speech & Language Therapist Higher Education lecturer There was also an opportunity to ask questions. Online Research Conference 2021
This conference, held on 29 June 2021, was for anyone who is interested in multi-disciplinery academic research through the medium of Welsh. Scientists, humanists and sociologists from all over Wales and beyond were invited to share the results of their research and to meet other like-minded Welsh researchers. The aim of the conference was to give the next generation of academics the opportunity to present their research to an audience of peers. There was also an opportunity to network with Welsh-speaking researchers and to foster a wider community of academics who promote Welsh-medium provision in our universities. History Conference 2021: 'Women and the World'
A conference held on 17 March 2021 for undergraduate and postgraduate History students but also anyone with an interest in people and history. The conference will follow the theme of 'Women and the World' with interesting presentations on the lives of women in the Middle Ages; murder at a convent in Quebec; Welsh women and the French Revolution; and a portrait of women in the First World War. Cynhadledd y Gyfraith (Law Conference) 2021
An online conference for undergraduate and postgraduate students, or anyone with an interest in the field, held on 4 March 2021. The Conference discussed various aspects of Law in Wales today. Lord Lloyd-Jones, of the United Kingdom’s Supreme Court opened the event and a presentation with a question and answer session will be given by Jeremy Miles MP, Counsel General for Wales. In addition to this, there was a vocational panel by two professional lawyers and also a discussion where the views of students on teaching Law and Criminology through the medium of Welsh at our universities were sought. 'The Child's Voice' Conference
An online conference for university and further education students of education, childcare and children and young people's services. The conference will discuss presentations on different aspects of children's voices in relation to Covid-19, racism, and advocacy. There will also be a presentation by Sally Holland, Wales's Children's Commissioner. The coference was held online on 24 February 202. Recordings of the presentations can be viewed below:

Welcome to Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol's Virtual Research Conference. Here you can access everything to do with the Conference: There are two parts to the conference: 1. 4 live papers will be submitted on July 1 (10: 00-12: 30) - the conference recordings will be added below soon. 2. In addition to the live presentations you will see on 1 July, 13 Welsh research students and academics have recorded presentations in advance. Below you will find access to all of them and we ask you to watch and enjoy them in your own time before the conference. Please feel free to prepare questions. There will be an opportunity to ask your question between 2 and 3:30 on 1 July. We ask you to submit your questions on Twitter using #cynhadleddymchwil20 and the contributors' Twitter accounts appear as you view the presentations.
